Vendor Information

Dear Vendor:

Thank you for your interest in the Annual Watermelon Festival and Garden Show in Valliant, OK.

The Valliant Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is sponsoring this festival, which will bring approximately 5,000 people into our town. This year's Annual Watermelon Festival and Garden Show will include the following activities:

A parade through the town area with awards for several contests.
Watermelon Royalty contests (Overalls King, Grand, Grander and Grandest Queen, Teen Queen, Pre-teen Queen and Baby Stroll/Wagon Pull.
Children’s games.
Quilt Show,
Face Painting,
Watermelon weigh-off and auction,
Photography contest,
Weiner Dog Races,
Watermelon Crawl,
Melon toss, Seed spitting, & Eating contest,
Local Talent Concert,
Gospel Night,
Many other activities too numerous to mention

Vendors will be placed along the north side of the park where it will be convenient for both vendor set-up and customer traffic. Deadline for vendor’s application is Friday, June 13, 2008. The committee will review vendor applications and all vendors will receive confirmation or rejection notices.
